I love to start the school year with some team building activities. This year, I did the "spaghetti challenge" that I got a chance to do at an IB training over the summer. Rules are here - http://marshmallowchallenge.com/Welcome.html
The students had a great time planning, building, and measuring their structures. We had some creative ideas and a few groups even succeeded! Great job to all.
